Jim Gordon, The Anti-Fan: I'm a journalist for The New Mexican newspaper in Santa Fe. I conceived the The Anti-Fan column for The New Mexican in late 1999 and have been writing it weekly ever since. It runs Fridays. The Anti-Fan was named the best sports column in the state in 2005 and 2006 by the New Mexico Press Association; the same years it also was named the best specialized column in the state — and the nation — by the National Federation of Press Women. Recently the column won a regional award from the Society of Professional Journalists. I'm married to freelance writer/editor Andrea Shapiro.
